Julia Aigner studied law in Berlin and Istanbul. She has been working as a research assistant at FÖPS since October 2022. As part of the project “Video analysis using artificial intelligence to detect false and manipulated identities” (FAKE-ID), she is investigating the background and manifestations of so-called deepfakes in the context of police and judicial work. The focus of your work is on the dispute of national law in relation to AI systems and the judicial usability of AI-based evidence.
