On 13 October 2022, the third milestone meeting of the project “Video analysis using artificial intelligence to detect false and manipulated identities (FAKE-ID)” took place with the participation of all project partners from research and industry. The hybrid meeting took place on the premises of Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg with the participation of Dr. Reichelt as a representative of the VDI.
The Fake ID project team presented the progress of the last months. This included in particular various publications, participation in conferences and the requirements catalogue for DeepFake detectors. The requirements catalogue as a milestone contains legal, ethical and social requirements for the development and use of DeepFake detectors.
The other project partners also presented their process. The presentations not only captured the current status of the project, but also enabled the planning of further cooperation between the project partners in the field.
